Description

Secondary Division Student Trips

Canoeing Expedition

During this engaging 3-day, 2-night adventure at Represa de Paraibuna, students will discover a new world of experiences as they camp on the islands along the way. They will learn paddling and water safety while working on autonomy, self-confidence, problem-solving, decision-making, and efficient communication. Paddling isn't just about moving a boat – it's a metaphor for life's challenges. As the students paddle through the calm waters, they'll find themselves not only exploring the scenic beauty of the surroundings but also unraveling the layers of personal growth, self and social competencies, resilience, compassion, and environmental responsibility.

Trekking Expedition

On the first day, students will stay at a partnered 3-star inn in Campos do Jordão. During this time, expedition planning and organization activities will take place alongside the students. These activities include packing backpacks, studying the route, and other preparatory tasks. During this remarkable 3-day, 2-night expedition, students will acquire new outdoor skills, intentionally expanding their comfort zones in a safe and planned manner, strengthening confidence, and experiencing a powerful connection with the group. All of this unfolds as they reconnect with the natural environment and enjoy the breathtaking views from the summits. In the mountains, we encounter not only challenges but also the inner strength to overcome them, discovering that there is more in us than we know.
